Bronze scrap looks very similar to brass, but can still be distinguished from it by its brownish yellow colour, while brass is a brighter yellow colour. Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin, with some zinc thrown in sometimes. Bronze scrap comes from old statues, ships’ propellers and fittings.
